Liliana Lakshmi

Liliana’s first aproach to Yoga was at the age of 17 with an Indian Master visiting Colombia and the seed from other lifes was ready to grow! Her career in the Hotel Industry took her around the world and after living more than 4 years in India, she totally committed to sharing her passion and knowledge of yoga to inspire and transform people’s lives in the same way that Yoga awakened her.
Yoga Acharya in the Sivananda Tradition, she has had the opportunity to study with wonderful teachers in the east and the west. Did several trainees in South & North India dedicating herself to the study and practice of yoga and meditation, learning with the traditional Gurukula System of education (living and learning from a master in an ashram having a deep transforming experience). In the west she has studied with Sri Dharma Mitra, Andrei Ram, Amy Ippoliti, Mark Whitwell, Siva Rea, Patrick Creelman, Chris Kummer, Andrey Lappa, Seanne Corn.  As well has been trained in India to heal with Divine energy: Om Channeling, Reflexology, Kriya Yoga and Reiki. She spends half of the year in Indian deepening her Sadhana and refreshing the inspiration at the source of the Yoga tradition.
Liliana believes in Yoga as a non-competitive path of self-awakening, an art and science of living in mind~body~spirit balance. Respecting one’s own limits with inner awareness, devotion, discipline and regular practice.
She teaches Yoga with the heart, free of labels, connecting the Self to the Divine Source bringing awareness in all we do.
Expect enthusiasm and joy from her class through her gentle loving approach as she encourages her students to self-awareness and personal strenght, Love and Devotion. Liliana is also been fascinated since childhood by the power of music and rythm, since growing up in a singers and dancers family and loves to chant and play the harmonium as part of her Yoga practice. She’s been leading Kirtan with Sathya in Europe, India & Singapore.
